Exercise!!! You know you need it for good health. But for most of us staying motivated is the tough part. Here are a few tips that may help:

  • Set some simple goals.
  • Give rewards for reaching goals.
  • Keep it fun
  • These are just some simple tips. Remember why you decided to get fit and don't stop doing what it takes to be healthy. You'll be glad you did it.


    We live in a fast-paced society with conveniences to cut corners and get things done fast… which is good, because we all have so much to get done on a daily basis. Unfortunately many of these so-called “conveniences” contribute to an unhealthy lifestyle and without even thinking about it we are contributing to our own chronic illnesses and eventually death. With so much talk these days about the health care crisis, here is something to think about. We all contribute to the crisis by simply living unhealthy lifestyles and releasing control of our own health.

    Let me explain. Most chronic and fatal illness is easily prevented by following simple rules for good health. Less illness means less trips to the doctor and pharmacy which means less money being dumped into the health care industry and quite possibly lower health insurance premiums. Simple.

    And let’s face it. Who wants to go around feeling sick and relying on medications to “make us feel better?” As we get older many of us assume that it is natural to develop aches and pains. We think that it is all a part of getting older. That is not necessarily true. In reality those aches and pains and other little illnesses are a result of damage and a weakening immune system brought on by years of abuse and neglect to our own bodies. This is preventable AND correctable. Just take control.
